Nokia N800 is out, we just released it!
This is not the most sexy-looking babe in town, but she has a lot of punch and she’ll get you through the night, the day and all the other horrible stories. YouTube works, skype is coming. The gorgeous high-resolution display rocks hard and is easily the best display in this kind of consumer electronics.
Oh, and there is a developer program availible so that all the naughty kids that like to tinker with things can get a device for a mere 99 euros. 500 devices are available this way. That’s a lot I’d say!

What are the requirements to take part in the developer program?
Where do I have to register?
Thanks in advance.
I want one! Can you give more details please?
I guess I owe you 5 bucks … http://tech.inhelsinki.nl/2007-01-09/
@Guys: Please send an introductionary mail to our developer mailing list with a short info about your involvement in the open-source community & plans to use the device (“Ie. I’d like to port tic-tac-toe to maemo”).
@Onne: Yeah, I must say I’m darn surprised too.
Are you sure about the email thing? Some people have already sent email but they have been kindly pointed to the phrase “don’t call us, we’ll call you!”
I would also like to enter the program.
Sorry about the duplicate message, something went wrong with the javascript.
Yes, it’s a “don’t call us, we call you” thing. Still I think that sending a short message is a nice way of allowing others to recognise your work – assuming you come from different areas of the community.
